Application category will be helpful for the administrator to easily mapped every application that registered in the Safous ZTNA based on specific characteristic (e.g. app type, app access, privilege , etc.). Before you could created the application category that you desired, please check these KB down below about Admin access:
- login to https://portal.safous.com
- Go to Settings tab> ZTNA
- In Application, choose Applications
- Click plus sign (+) on the application, which it it will expand the information for that specific application
- Click "Edit"
- Now you can edit category parameter in that application you choose
- Click on "Category" field, which it will give you options to use exiting one or create new category
- When you clicked "Add category", it will pop-up "New category" form
- You need to enter the new category name because it's required and choose the color pallet by clicking the paint bucket icon (color pallet can be choose by using slider tools or juts input the color code)
- Once you satisfied, click "Submit"
- Then there will be pop-up notification where the new category has been created successfully
- For the app itself, you could just click on "Cancel" button if there's no modification on the app itself
