Grant Recording Access to User and Group

Safous ZTNA provides recording functionality for several app protocols like RDP, SSH, VNC, and Telnet, which can be played and downloaded from the user portal. To enable this feature, you need admin privileges to modify tenant users or groups. Please refer to the following knowledge base articles about Admin access: Login to Admin Portal

To set recording permissions on a per-user basis:

  1. Go to the Settings tab > ZTNA.
  2. In Accounts, choose Users.
  3. Click the plus sign (+) next to the user to whom you want to assign recording permissions. This will expand the information for that specific user.
  4. Once the user's information is expanded, change the "Recording" toggle button from gray to green.

To set recording permissions on a per-group basis:

  1. Go to the Settings tab > ZTNA.
  2. In Accounts, choose Groups.
  3. Click the plus icon (+) on the right side of the group to which you want to add recording permissions.
  4. Once the group's information is expanded, change the "Recording" toggle button from gray to green.
Now, every user or group that has been granted recording permissions can log in to the user portal and check if the recording tab exists, as shown in the screenshot below.
