This page explains detailed configuration parameters of Settings > Configuration > SMTP Setting on the Safous admin portal (portal.safous.com)
By default, Safous already provides an SMTP server to facilitate system mail such as supervisor approval, password reset, etc., but just in case you want to have your own SMTP server/relay, you can configure it on this page.
1. Edit, click this button to modify all configuration parameters.
2. Host, address of your SMTP server/relay.
3. Port, port of your SMTP server/relay.
4. From Address, email account to authenticate to your SMTP server/relay.
5. From Name, email alias that will be visible as the sender to the recipient.
6. Use credentials from vault, check this option to use the saved credential in the Safous vault (more details about Safous vault management can be checked here: https://support.safous.com/kb/zta-vault-password). Otherwise, you can manually define the username and password in the provided field.
7.SMTP Credential, your saved credentials in the vault will be listed here to be chosen whenever you check option number #6
