Supported Policy Option for Telnet App

In the policy, there are specific configurations available for each type of application. This article is intended to show the configuration options that can be chosen for the Telnet application. Before proceeding, you need to have an admin user to create a policy. Please refer to the KB articles below about admin access:

 

  1. Log in to https://portal.safous.com
  2. Go to the Settings tab> ZTNA
  3. In Policies, click the New Policy button
  4. Once clicked, it will expand all the options available for policy configuration that can be used for application authorization
  5. When you select an application of the Telnet type, some specific configuration options can be chosen

  6. Allow clipboard configuration enables you to allow or disallow clipboard/copy functions during the Telnet session on the remote node. If enabled, whenever you open the session, you will see a notification
  7. Record Session allows you to record every session. More details can be found here
  8. Supervisor can interact with session, This function requires the supervised user policy to be enabled first. When enabled, the supervisor who approves the session can see what the requester is doing and interact with the session. A notification will appear at the bottom of the screen indicating supervision.
