This article serves to guide you on how to access an RDP-based application through Safous user portal. Before you proceed, please ensure the following prerequisites has been met:
- A user account created by an admin. Please refer to this article.
- User has been successfully enrolled and MFA has been set-up. Please refer to this article.
- Admin has created policy mapping for app and user authorization. Please refer to this article.
- A web browser to open User Portal
After logging into the user portal, you will see a list of accessible applications, which includes the RDP-based App that you have created. You can select the access method you prefer, either through the web or a native RDP client.
If you choose to access through the "Web", the RDP session will open in a new browser tab.
Selecting "Native" will prompt a new tab to open and initiate the download of an *.rdp file to your local machine. If the browser does not automatically download the file, you can manually start the download by clicking on the download button.
Once downloaded, open the .rdp file to initiate an RDP session to your application.
